Requirements:

    • Membership in associations requiring outstanding achievements.
    • Published material in professional or major media outlets.

    • High salary or remuneration compared to peers.

Validity:

  • The Permanent Residence card typically expires after 10 years, renewable before expiration.
  • Conditional permanent resident card may be granted initially, expiring after 2 years, subject to removal of conditions by USCIS.

Family Members: Spouses and children under 21 qualify as derivative beneficiaries of an approved I-140 petition.

Jurisdiction: EB-1A petitions are processed directly with USCIS, subject to priority dates. After I-140 approval, applicants may choose to adjust status within the US or undergo consular processing overseas.
